About MusiCorps

MusiCorps has been praised by the Wall Street Journal as "a revolutionary program to help war veterans adjust to postwar life."

Learning, creating, and performing music involves so many aspects of brain function that it is believed to recruit uninjured parts of the brain to compensate for parts that have been injured, and help those parts that are injured recover. We are proud to support our Wounded Warriors through music.

"The Greatest Songs You Never Heard"

presented by

Three For A Song: Alex Hassan, Doug Bowles and Karin Paludan,

Saturday, April 28, 7:30PM

at the

Creative Cauldron Artspace, 410 S. Maple Street, Falls Church, VA

Falls Church based pianist extraordinaire Alex Hassan recreates the styles of the golden age of 1920s/30s Tin Pan Alley; sublime, acclaimed East Coast based singers Doug Bowles and Karin Paludan are versatile performers who bring the songs of the Era to life with humor and heart; together they form Three For A Song and present "The Greatest Songs You've Never Heard". Since the trio debuted "The Greatest Songs" in late 2011, it has received standing ovations at venues such as the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage "Jazz Club", the Coolidge Auditorium at the Library of Congress, and numerous private events. The chemistry between the three is "infectious" as they share breathtaking melodies from stage and film, with clever lyrics, bouncy rhythms, and hot tempos. Woven between the songs, you'll hear hilarious, heart warming and surprising anecdotes about the songs and songwriters, with listeners left to wonder how on Earth these melodies didn't become standards! Join "Three For A Song" at the Creative Cauldron in Falls Church on Saturday, April 28th at 7:30PM, for a night of music you won't forget. "The Greatest Songs" may become your favorite songs!
